Frequently asked questions.
What is the difference between a Registered Dietitian and a Nutritionist?
Nutritionist is an unregulated term, meaning that anyone and everyone can call themselves that, even without any formal education or training. Simply put, there are no requirements to call oneself a Nutritionist.
A Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist has met the following requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree, including a Didactic Program in Dietetics (a Master’s degree will be required in 2024)
1200 hours of supervised practice
A national registration exam
75 hours of continuing education every 5 years
RD’s are qualified nutrition professionals who use evidence-based methods in their respective fields to best treat their clients/patients.
What can I expect when working with Be Well Nutrition?
You will be provided with individualized nutrition and lifestyle recommendations that best suit your needs.

We will evaluate your progress and work towards your goals, making any adjustments needed during follow-up visits.
If you participate in a sport, you can expect weight class-specific recommendations and “game day” nutrition planning.
You will build self efficacy to continue thriving independently with the knowledge you’ve gained from each session.
